Product Certification

Regarding the certification process, ISATEL contributes to meeting the essential requirements for the manufacture, commercialization and import of products in our country. Together, we achieve that all the companies that require it obtain the recognition and endorsement that their products have, among other conditions, the quality, safety, and efficiency that the Mexican market demands, a situation that directly have an impact on their level of acceptance and prestige. We promote an efficiency policy in our processes, so our commitment is to optimize times and costs for our clients, as well as to avoid unnecessary delays in the delivery of certificates.
Homologation
Thanks to our experience and our highly qualified team, we can efficiently carry out the processes with the Federal Institute of Telecommunications (IFT), to obtain the homologation certificates of the equipment that operate through the radioelectric spectrum, such as the cell phone technology. In the case of equipment with analog or digital terminals, they are carried out through laboratory tests, so that the corresponding homologation definitive certificate issued by the IFT is finally obtained. It should be noted that these homologation certificates are issued by the IFT to approve wireless communication to the equipment that uses the band ranges and powers allowed under the Mexican laws for telecommunications published by the Ministry of Communications and Transportation (SCT).

In accordance with the current Quality Infrastructure Law in Mexico, the Official Mexican Standards (Normas Oficiales Mexicanas) are the technical regulations of mandatory observance issued by the competent authorities, whose essential purpose is the promotion of quality, through the establishment of rules, denomination, specifications or characteristics applicable to a good, product, process, or service, as well as those related to terminology, information marking or labeling.

Información importante
- All products that are marketed in Mexico require compliance with commercial information in Spanish. The commercial information standards check aspects such as packaging, operation manuals, and warranty formats. Other standards verify the percentage of content of materials and symbols to give indications on specific care.
- There are standards for non-alcoholic beverages and prepackaged foods that require reporting of the percentages of ingredients, substances, nutrients, and raw materials that compose them, as well as the indications for conservation and expiration date.
